Kayte, November 2013
Today is Kayte & Steve's 2nd wedding anniversary so I thought they'd make a perfect feature to brighten up my blog on this gloomy, rainy afternoon.
I must start by wishing the lovely couple a fantastic anniversary and to say I can't believe how quickly the last two years have gone by. I had a fantastic morning getting Kayte ready alongside Claire of Luxurious Hair & Beauty and Kerrie Mitchell Photography.
Kayte made such a gorgeous bride in a very beautiful short, lace dress and her favourite black leather jacket. Throughout the entire wedding and particularly with Kayte's makeup and hair (styled by Claire of Luxurious Hair & Beauty) it was so important that Kayte's personal style came through & we weren't simply conforming to bridal trends.
I defined Kayte's beautiful eyes with Anastasia Beverly Hills Covet Waterproof Eyeliner and lashings of mascara. I concentrated on keeping Kayte's skin flawless and with a matte finish using MAC Prep + Prime translucent powder and created warmth in Kayte's cheeks with MAC creme blush in Brit Wit and Benefit's Hoola.
Kayte's bouquet was one of the prettiest I've seen and the flowers weren't even real! It was impossible to tell the flowers were silk even up close and with details such as feathers, acorns and berries it was so perfect for their November day.
With amazingly unique details like their yellow truck wedding car, rice crispie tiered cake & an evening hat party it's no wonder that Kayte's wedding has been featured in magazines & online wedding blogs since their wonderful day.
So Kayte & Steve, I hope you're snuggled up out of the rain today, remembering such a fantastic day and wonderful memories. I'm wishing you many, many more happy years together. x
